It has been a while since we have featured a wine of the week, but we are back in action. I think we have found a wine that Sauvignon Blanc drinkers will enjoy.
This week’s selection is the 2004 Simi Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma County.
The bottle looks like this:
This is a nice crisp wine. You can taste the grapefruit and lemon flavors. This wine would probably taste best with a light seafood meal. I had it with chicken and it was tasty.
I found this wine at my local Ralph’s store on sale for $9.99. You can find it at wine.com for $16.99. I think that price is a little steep for this wine, but if you find it for under $15, I think it is worth a try.
